Abstract :
MOOC is causing widespread concern in higher education, and promotes rapid development of online education. Learners from all over the world login in MOOC. However, MOOC´s high dropout rate is worrying. The existing analyses to the reasons of the high dropout rate are just from a certain aspect of MOOC instead of from system view. According to the ecological system theory, This paper constructs the MOOC learning community ecological circle, analyzing its component elements, learner role, ecological interaction and system function. Then it discusses its usage in reduce the MOOC dropout rates by optimizing the ecological environment, promoting ecological interaction and being strict with ourselves, etc.
