Abstract
Intensity distribution of high intensity femtosecond laser pulse has been measured using time-resolved optical polarigraphy. Ultrashort laser pulses from Ti:sapphire laser beams propagating in CS/sub 2/ are studied, and the difference between Gaussian and phase shifted beams is compared.
