Abstract
Considering the randomness and intermittence of the distributed energy resources (DERs) in the active distribution network (ADN), chronological model is superimposed on stochastic model and the models of distributed generation, energy storage system and controllable load are established in this paper. The interrupted load is classified in accordance with the cause of fault, and the objective function of load shedding comprehensively considers load priority, lack power and outage frequency, then the improved genetic algorithm (GA) is taken for the optimal load-shedding scheme. Reliability assessment algorithm of ADN based on pseudo sequential Monte Carlo (PSMC) is presented, then the average load shifting rate is defined and its sensitivity analysis is conducted. The case results show that the integration of DER can improve system reliability indices effectively and loads implementing of demand side management (DSM) can not only enhance the reliability indices of the load itself, but also the remaining loads in the system.
