Abstract
Nowadays the operation reliability of the wind turbines has a great influence on the stability of power grids. Thus, the maintenance of wind turbines becomes a hotspot of current scholars. In order to solve the problem of the increasing failure rate of wind turbines, this paper proposes a maintenance strategy optimization model based on risk. The proposed model evaluates the health status of wind turbines based on the information of components, and then calculates the failure rate on the basis of the evaluating results. The running risk of the wind farm is given by the above results. Minimum risk is used as an optimization objective of this model with the consideration of constraints such as maintenance resources. At last, a wind farm maintenance plan is obtained through the analysis of the given example and the result validates the effectiveness of the model on maintenance planning issues.
