Abstract :
The large-scale charging of electric vehicles will result in major impacts on power grids, which can be hardly handled using traditional centralized control strategies. Under multiagent system framework, this paper builds autonomous agent behavior for electric vehicles (EV), charging stations (CS), and the smart grid (SG). An evaluation index, i.e. EV customer satisfaction degree (CSD), is modelled to measure the influence of EV user preference during the charging process. Based on this, we propose a decentralized CS pricing strategy under non-cooperative game theory; the strategy encourages coordinated system operation and optimal allocating of the charging resources. Simulations on Shanghai International Automobile City demonstrate the grid-friendly EV charging process under proposed strategy, where grid constraints and user preferences are considered in detail.
