Abstract :
The accurate detection of QRS wave is an important prerequisite for automated analysis of an ECG signal. For the purpose of improving the detection sensitivity and accuracy of single-lead QRS wave, this paper presents a new algorithm for dual-lead ECG QRS wave fusion detection. After QRS wave location of the original electrocardiogram (ECG) by a single-lead pre-detection, dual-lead decision algorithm determines single-lead or dual-lead fusion detection is employed. Single-lead detection directly uses the first or second lead test results, while fusion examination of dual-lead is decided by dual-lead fusion method and the lead judge rule. This algorithm involves variance, magnitude, RR intervals, template matching and the threshold comparison method and so on. Using the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database to validate the algorithm, the statistics show that an average sensitivity and accuracy are 99.87%, 99.81% respectively, which are higher than single-lead.
