Abstract :
We present the first compact diode-pumped tunable between 1416 and 1527 nm actively mode-locked cw room-temperature Cr:YAG laser, typically delivering 15 ps pulses at 30 mW. Pulses as short as 2.6 ps at 400 mW average power were generated with Nd:YLF pumping.
