Abstract :
Challenges in development of renewable energies and mainly in its large scale integration into power system require a road map consist to define new configuration, operations, requirements, equipment. Actually many countries have not yet started to install renewable energies and others begins to integrate some Megawatts of renewable energies but also some countries are very developed in wind power and they integrate at large scale in their power system. In this work, we present the wind power integration impact on power system operations and different scales successive to reach large scale wind power integration. An overview of extended power system operator and developed wind power forecasting are detailed. Different scenarios of wind power capacities integration are tested using power system operator model basing on Artificial Neural Networks.
