Abstract
Existing aircraft tracking capability is lacking when encountered with water, in the event that aircraft crashes into the ocean. This paper presents an aircraft tracking system that able to track the attached aircraft in real time. The information of the location collected is presented on a web-based GUI. The proposed system is intended to be used as a standalone tracker that is able to keep track on the aircraft and improves the search and rescue rate. This system is also designed to overcome the lack of aircraft tracking capability.
