Abstract
Simulating phenomena at micro scale is challenging due to the immaturity in theory and the complexities in existing high-order physics equations. This paper presents a plausible physics model to simulate a microscopic phenomenon, i.e. The coffee-ring effect and its suppression. In order to reproduce micro-fluidics behaviors inside the droplet, four forces are rigorously designed to generate a realistic effect while avoiding heavy computation. We demonstrated that combining the four forces allowed us to reliably simulate a variety of interesting natural phenomena besides the coffee-ring effect.
