Abstract :
The bilingual teaching practice of Mechanical Engineering Measurements course (MEM) for third grade undergraduates of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is introduced in this paper. Three types of bilingual textbook selections are compared, and the self-compiled unified bilingual textbook is the most appropriate choice for both students and teachers. Some important aspects of teaching mode, like arrangements of multimedia courseware, teaching language selection, self-teaching application and bilingual grading method are discussed in this paper. A teaching effects assessment method is presented which provides a testing way of the bilingual reform direction of the course.
