Abstract :
An inductive coupled power transfer (ICPT) scheme using high temperature superconducting (HTS) primary is presented, with its resonant current, transfer power and transfer efficiency characteristics calculated and discussed to identify this promising method to suit to develop practical low-frequency high-current ICPT devices and systems.
