Abstract :
In this paper, a novel common-mode (CM) model with coupling parameters is established of induction motor. Based on this model, the shaft voltage and bearing current problems are analyzed deeply in motor drive system. The path of the bearing current is confirmed and the reduction methods are proposed. Simulation and experiment results are presented to indicate the proposed model validity. This model can provide effective analysis and simulation means for researching the correct method to cancel and reduce the shaft voltage and bearing current.
