Abstract :
Based on the symmetrical component method, the system of three-phase self-excited induction generator with a single-phase load is analyzed. The phase variables are decomposed into sequence variables for the derivation of combined equivalent circuit, which is the basement to calculate electric quantities in steady-state operation. With a given output voltage, the capacitor combinations can be determined. Experimental investigation has confirmed the accuracy of the proposed technique.
