Abstract :
To ensure the security, stability and economic operation of the grid, energy storage system had been widely used in power system. Improving the flexibility of the network by regulating the power and operational status, and also to achieve the economic dispatch purpose. Firstly, in this paper, considering the power, capacity, state maintenance time, ramp rate and other constraints of the energy storage system, combining with wind turbine output, open downtime and other constraints. To establish the steady-state model of the energy storage system and UNIT scheduling model, then by predicting wind power and using scenario analysis to achieve minimize the cost of total power production spend, achieving cost-effective operation in the case of wind power connected to the grid. At last, balancing the load distribution of the wind turbines to reduce the generation cost. From analysis the practical example, the effect of energy storage systems on wind turbines´ working statues, and the acceptance of wind power.
