Abstract
It is known that tumor cells can be suppressed by extremely low frequency magnetic field stimulation. However, the optimal field strength and frequency have not yet been fully determined. In this paper, an adjustable frequency and magnetic flux density for an extremely low frequency magnetic field stimulation system are proposed. Additionally, a new planar stimulation coil with a printed circuit board is proposed which cooperates with the system. The field distribution of the stimulation system was simulated by numerical computation and the principle of the system was also analyzed. The cell experiment was based on U87 cell line. It was shown that the concentration of tumor cells was diluted by stimulation after one week. The magnetic stimulation system in this paper was carried out to accelerate the optimization process of magnetic field parameters.
