  • Abstract
    Due to the small RCS size of the dim moving targets in the sea surface, and its Doppler frequency shift is not significant, in addition that the feature of sea clutter is very complicated, therefore conventional radar target detection algorithm is difficult to detect them effectively. Based on the full analysis of the statistical characteristics of sea clutter with the combination of the correlation of target motion trajectory in this paper, a new TBD algorithm that is on the basis of Hough transform is presented. By utilizing the multi-circle scan data of the radar, and then accumulates these data which is obtained in a long period, and the tracking detection of the dim targets with linear motion in the sea surface is achieved. Numerous simulation results have proved the validity of the proposed algorithm in this paper.
