  • Abstract
    The driver model occupies an indispensable position in the study of intelligent vehicle and vehicle handling stability. In this paper, a fuzzy PID driver model for pure electric vehicle was established. By using MATLAB/Simulink and the whole vehicle model in Carsim, a joint simulation model was build. Experiment results show that, compare to traditional PID driver model, the fuzzy PID driver model have better direction control ability to improve the vehicle handing and stability.
