Abstract
This paper studies video signal degradation caused by intermodulation products from nonlinear devices of the millimeter-wave (MM-wave) video transmission system for broadcasting satellite (BS) signals transmission. The required carrier to interference power ratio (CIR) for the video transmission system is investigated from experimental results based on subjective measures. The required third-order intercept points (IP3) for the nonlinear devices are calculated from the experimental results.
