Abstract
A modified approach to design a Rotman type multiple beam forming network is proposed. The lens design using the proposed approach is analyzed using the contour integral approach. Z-matrix and then S-parameters for the multiport model of the lens have been evaluated. The S-matrix yields voltage distribution at the array elements. Using the voltage distribution, the radiation pattern for the antenna array has been computed. Effects of antenna element spacing on the performance of the network have been investigated.
