  • Abstract
In this study the gas permeability and internal current through hydrated Nafion membranes are investigated using numerical simulation developed under CFD software. The results showed that the gas permeability and internal current increase, while the solubility of gases (O2 and H2) decreases with increasing water content and temperature particularly for thinner membrane. The results also show that permeability of hydrogen in the Nafion found to be approximately twice as higher as that of O2.
