Abstract :
This paper aims to present a sensorless indirect field oriented control (IFOC) associated with an intelligent technique based on fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) in purpose to guarantee fast response and to improve the dynamic performance of a three-phase squirrel cage induction motor drive (SCIM). These regulators are used instead of the classical IP ones and are applied in speed and stator currents control. The whole control is reinforced by an extended Kalman filter observer (EKF) for rotor flux and speed estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed indirect oriented control with the proposed observer provides good performance dynamic characteristics for different operating modes. The robustness of the overall system is tested under load torque disturbance in order to show the system stability. All simulations have been realized in Matlab/Simulink©.
