Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of large energy spectral density error of the constant modulus waveform synthesized by Cognitive radar. A new waveform design algorithm based on iterative Convex Optimization is proposed in this paper. Firstly, waveform synthesis method is transformed into Optimization problem constrained by peak-to-average power ratio, while classical synthesize algorithm optimize cost function with constraint in time-domain and frequency-domain separately, without considering convergence rate and global optimization, which cause convergence rate slow and large error. Secondly, minimizing weighting error vector magnitude (WEVM) to reduce stop-band power, suppressing interfere and clutter. At last, Optimization problem is transformed into second-order cone programming problem. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed new algorithm.
