Abstract
Waveform design algorithm based on ambiguity function is researched. To the problem of poor delay-Doppler performance, firstly construct the desired ambiguity function which satisfy delay-Doppler performance and low autocorrelation, secondly diagonal loading approach has been used to make its correlation matrix positive definite. The difference between the designed ambiguity function and the desired one are used as a criterion, the waveform design problem is transform to optimization problem, the unit-modulus sequences is got by Cyclic Algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm had better delay-Doppler performance and lower two dimension sidelobe level with weak loss in zero-Doppler cut sidelobe level, besides this algorithm with rapid convergence rate.
