Abstract :
In this paper, we propose to establish the mathematical model for the rotor blades in a prop aircraft or a turbojet, where the targets´ flying directions are vertical to the rotor blades´ rotating plane. Experimental results with electromagnetic computation data obtained via a CADFEKO model prove the correctness of the proposed mathematical model. Based on the established mathematical model, we investigate the relationship between the micro-Doppler signatures and the azimuth angle. We wish our research reported here will provide researchers additional information which can be utilized as a complement to some existing target recognition methods.
