Abstract :
This paper proposes a variable phase shifter (VPS) using conductor stripe parasitic element, and two microstrip patch resonators. A parasitic element placed above the microstrip patch resonators gives tight coupling of both input port and output port. In this paper, the basic characteristics of VPS are calculated by finite difference time domain (FDTD) method, and are verified by experiments
