Abstract :
Recognition of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) operation mode plays an important role in SAR countermeasure, and possesses quite significant sense in both theory and applications. Characteristics of three different SAR operation modes are analyzed in detail and the Doppler history of SAR signal is concerned. An algorithm by extracting Doppler Centroid with time frequency distribution (TFD) is proposed to retrieve SAR operation mode. Simulations are executed and all results have been proved that, the algorithm is correct and effective. It provides an effective way to SAR operation mode recognition.
