Abstract
A hybrid scheme of the discrete Fourier transform and moment method (DFT-MoM) is presented for the fast analysis of large rectangular array problems. This DFT-MoM is very efficient since only a very few DFT terms, which are selected according to UTD type ray interpretation, are sufficient to represent the unknowns in the MoM analysis. Numerical examples indicate that the ratio of the DFT unknowns decreases as well as the percentage errors with the increase of the array size
