Abstract :
In this paper, we address the integrated optimization problem of waveform design and sparse antenna array design for MIMO radar. We introduce convex optimization (CVX) to solve the optimization of waveform design, then a new algorithm which combining the CVX with Genetic algorithms (GA) for MIMO radar is proposed, and we call it as CVXGA. The essence of the proposed method is to get the balance between the waveform design and the sparse array design. The effectiveness of the approach is demonstrated by numerical simulations.
