Abstract
The effect of time and space on the biogenesis of mRNA is a matter of research interest because of reports on its potential to affect different biochemical processes. As described by Bentley(2014) and other researchers, along with co-transcriptional process, post-transcriptional events also happen quite frequently for which the splicing process is delayed and a chance of different mode of splicing appears to be probable. While co-transcriptional splicing mechanism suggests an ordered longitudinal joining of exons, post-transcriptional mechanism suggests a possibility of out of the order arrangement of exons leading to different result of transcription. In this light, the present study explored the events leading to formation of circular RNAs.
