Abstract :
The unrestricted and cooperative communication enabled nature of mobile network increases the transmission criticalities. These criticalities are severe when the communication attack is applied by internal nodes and applied cooperatively. Wormhole Attack is one such attack that disrupts the packet delivery in the network. In this paper, a composite preventive and decision specific model is provided for the clustered mobile network. This work model is applied at an earlier stage to identify the attacked cooperative wormhole tunnel pair using HMM driven predictive approach. After blocking the attacked nodes, the preventive communication path is formed using fuzzy integrated communication analysis model. The node strength analysis is here performed on multiple communication parameters. Wormhole attack integrated mobile network is simulated in NS2 environment. Inter-Cluster and inter-cluster communication is applied within the network. The comparative results show that that the proposed FHMM (Fuzzy-HMM) model has reduced the communication loss and communication delay so that the network reliability is improved.
