Abstract
The present era of wireless communication system has witnessed a maximized score of interest in adopting a specialized branch called as Wireless Sensor Network. Although, the research on the concept is more than a decade old, still WSN is shrouded by various types of operational loopholes, which decreases the technical adoption of the commercial practices of the protocols. The proposed paper has addressed one of the unsolved issues in WSN i.e. Coverage and Connectivity. Although coverage concept has been exclusively studied in past, but majority of the approaches has not been compliant of cost effective and tolerant solutions. Simulation is undertaken in Matlab where packet delivery ratio and cumulative energy consumption is recorded and compared with most frequently used LEACH algorithm to find that proposed model has enhanced results.
