  • Abstract
The maturity of the hologram technology has reached the level where it has been used in various industries such as, entertainment, advertisement, and event organizer. However, the cost of the hologram projector is high and its size is too large, so it´s impractical to be used in the environment where the mobility is needed. Moreover, the user interface of such device is not designed to handle the different types of input. To overcome these obstacles, we propose HoVeR-the Holographic Visualizer on Raspberry Pi platform. The platform is working on Raspberry Pi-the portable computing device which has a computational power comparable to the Desktop Computer platform. This approach results in the low cost, but efficient holographic projector with the compact size. Later in this paper, we ensure that our approach is promising by implementing the HoVeR platform with the real world application called “Thailand Interactive Vacation Planner”, the compact size travel guide kiosk operated with human speech.
