Abstract
In this paper, we explore a novel navigation system, NavS, which could work without the help of indoor map or floor plan and provide indoor navigation services that can be easily deployed. Smartphone records Wi-Fi´s data during user´s walking. If the user needs to back, NavS system leverages the Integral Mechanism which can process the current measured data to lead the user back to the start point. Experiments show that NavS system can effectively guide the user on the correct way. Notably, the mean error between the realistic path and guidance path is within 7 steps.
