Abstract :
A new, third generation, impregnating resin has been developed which uses “controllable reactivity” chemistry resulting in polyether linkages. This resin impregnant is capable of producing better chemical resistance, improved electrical properties, and superior thermal properties, and a long shelf life with low viscosity for thorough impregnation when compared with other commercially available epoxy or polyester resin impregnants.
