Leonardo da Vinci programs - useful tool for improvement of the European construction companies performance

Paper presents results and ideas of Leonardo da Vinci (LdV) projects carried out at Warsaw University of Technology, Civil Engineering Faculty, Department of Construction Engineering and Management and Polish British Construction Partnership (as Partner). Presented LdV projects are connected with improvement of the construction staff education and recognition of qualifications, development of formal and informal methods of training for implementation of the Lisbon strategy in EU countries. Presented projects - as created for construction engineers and management specialist - are also a tool for improvement of construction companies´ performance throughout improvement of their employees´ qualifications and skills.
