Abstract :
Since current environment of organisations is uncertain and complex, the necessity to innovate drives firms toward new organisational forms where collaboration is promoted. The networked approach fosters concurrent innovation. For firms such as SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) the creation process of concurrent innovation inside networks is considerate since several risks may occur: trust issue, strategic competences exchanges, etc. The objective of this paper is to highlight, based on empirical studies, the importance of Proximity and Social Capital in the creation, the positive development and the sustainability of networks of SME.
