Establishing a collaborative cluster in the Lazio aerospace district

This paper describes the initial results and the creation strategy of the Lazio Connect collaborative cluster in the aerospace domain. The main objectives are to set up a cooperative model for the commercial and operational governance, an organisational model, an ICT infrastructure and a legal framework to regulate collaborative contracts and deals. The Lazio Connect project takes his place in a framework of rising adoption of a collaborative cluster approach in the Lazio Region and the project aims at creating a case of best practice both at a local and national level by validating ideas originated by International Concurrent Enterpises (ICE) results in terms of Best Practice. Other goals will be to induce positive spillovers in other industrial sectors and increase productivity of the local economy.
