Abstract :
Attenuation mitigation technologies has become more important in the higher frequency satellite communication in order to reduce the natural effect which is the most influential factor. The coming one is an adaptive satellite power control method. This method can be used in the specific areas where got an unstable signal especially the tropical areas, the crowded areas or even for disaster cases. This paper used rain radar data over Japan to evaluate the variation of power boost constants are 10, 20,30 and 40 mm/h. These boost constant amounts has been thought that can be encounter from a light rain to a strong rain events.
