Abstract :
Stem cell have drawn lots of research interest in tissue engineering because its ability to differentiate into different cell types by chemical or physical signals. Microfluidic platform provide good environment controllability for cell culture and especially for cell differentiation. In this conference presentation, we focus on using microfluidic device as mechanical shear stress simulation platform for stem cell investigations. Two different types of microfluidic stress stimulation device: shear stress stimulation microfluidic device and normal stress stimulation microfluidic device are present in INEC 2014 conference report.
