Abstract :
This paper presents our study on a reflector system for mechanically scanned imager working at 220 GHz. An ellipsoidal reflector is utilized to replace a paraboloidal reflector to achieve another focus on the target plane under the consideration of better performance in the near field imaging. The mechanical scanning is achieved by the rotating mirror in this standoff THz imager.
