Challenges and barriers of virtual teams in organizations: The context of Poland

Nowadays we observe new tendencies in organizations trying to accommodate to the changing global environment. The accent is put on knowledge and crossing the countries´ boundaries. Some innovations concerning teamwork and project workflow are necessary. New types of organizations appear as, among others, the Virtual Teams. Important barriers for virtual cooperative work appear and we must find potential solutions for these barriers. The results of Polish research show common tendencies in virtual work that concern its possibilities and limits.
