The MobiCert project — Enhancing enterprise interoperability for organic primary producers in rural areas

Enterprise Integration is often seen as the technical or organisational linkage of firms´ application systems or structures. In this paper we present a rather different view, introducing a mobile application which linked organic primary producers both to their certification body and to one another. The participants in this proof of concept study found real benefits from the services provided, both commercially and socially.
