Abstract :
How to guarantee a dignified ageing for European citizens? To resolve this dilemma we need increasing human resources but also cost effective technical innovations. The aim of this project is to extend the time during which elderly people, who suffer with memory disorder can live independently in their preferred environment with the support of assistive ambient technology. The main target groups of the project are elderly people with memory disorder living at home, their family members and caregivers. Besides the assistive ambient technology home treatment for memory disorder involves teamwork with family members, caregivers and professionals to create a safe and comfortable environment and to make tasks of daily living as easy as possible. In this project, the demonstrative activities are built in multiprofessional teams. The demonstrative activities are conducted in three European cities, where the service models differ.
