Performance Evaluation of Urban Infrastructure Investment Based on Data Envelopment Analysis Method

Urban infrastructure construction can promote the development of the national economy and society. The performance evaluation of urban infrastructure investment reflects the relationship between input and output, and it is an important index to measure the effect of operation. Therefore, it is necessary to study the evaluation index system and method of urban infrastructure investment performance. This paper summarizes the current situation of performance evaluation of urban infrastructure investment, expounds the concept composition and characteristics of urban infrastructure, analyzes the meaning and theoretical foundation of performance evaluation of urban infrastructure investment. Based on the theory of performance evaluation, the evaluation index system of urban infrastructure investment performance is established. The performance evaluation index system of urban infrastructure investment includes the input index and output index. Using data envelopment analysis method, the paper establishes the data envelopment analysis theoretical model for performance evaluation of urban infrastructure investment. The research result have some theoretical value, which can be helpful to evaluate the investment performance of the urban infrastructure.
