Abstract :
Sprinkling density is a major parameter of fire control capability in sprinkler system. In this paper, some experiments on sprinkler system involving its water distribution characteristics are carried out and discussed. We take the ZST-15 drop sprinkler as an example, the water distribution characteristics of building sprinkler which working pressure ranges from 0.05-0.16 MPA are studied in this paper. Based on the experimental data, the distribution of sprinkling density in the experimental area was working out and then fitted by MATLAB. Therefore, the water distribution characteristics of sprinklers are obtained.
