Abstract :
Because of its simple structure formation, the material is easy to take, and its convenient construction, low cost, simple technology, various forms, masonry structure has been widely used in multistoried buildings, schools, hospitals and other civil buildings, and is one of the most common structure form in enormous quantity and wide coverage building engineering. Due to masonry structure has some shortcomings such as low tensile and shear strength and the cohesive force of the mortar and blocks is weak, masonry structure will appear different levels, different forms of temperature cracks under the influence of various factors like design, construction and building materials. The temperature cracks in masonry structure is quite a common problem, it not only affects the normal use of buildings and the beauty, but also affects the construction of anti-seismic capability, shorten the service life. Therefore, the analysis of the formation mechanism of temperature crack and put forward the corresponding control measures have important practical significance.
