Abstract :
This work aims to identify highly potential enterprises by analyzing the positions of enterprises in the supply chain network. Such enterprises may not be famous, but they have the potential to compete against large companies or multinationals and achieve considerable growth in the near future. The proposed approach utilizes social computing technique with the balanced scorecard measures to analyze the supply chain network based on the rationales that enterprises with strong industrial network relationships are influential and have a great impact on their peers. We construct a business item network and conduct an empirical evaluation on the supply chain network of a main industrial park in Taiwan. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is effective for identifying the enterprises with considerable potential.
