  • Abstract
The trend to higher efficiency motors and operations has created the need for a new family of Electrical Insulations Systems for Magnet Wire. These needs are being met with modifications of current technologies and applying new chemistries to existing technologies. The use of improved lubricants which allow more dense packing of the wires in a given slot has initiated the development of a "thermosetting" high temperature cement coat. In certain applications these combined systems offer advantages over conventional systems.
