Abstract :
A rapid prototyping simulation solution for a specified aircraft based on the iHawk simulator is presented in this paper. Firstly, the flight dynamic model is built up under Matlab/Simulink development environment. Then, SIMulation Workbench (SimWB) is used to translate the Simulink model into a specified model that can be executed by the iHawk simulator. The interface code in the special hardware device is written in C language under the SimWB environment, and that environment can realize the seamless connection of simulation codes under different programming languages by using Real-Time database (RTDB). Finally, simulations are performed and the results show that the design of rapid prototyping model based on iHawk simulator reduces the workload significantly, and can be used to shorten the development cycle.
